To stop fraudsters, we need to understand the factors that make an older adult vulnerable and what outreach strategies are most helpful. Unfortunately, victims often carry a significant amount of shame. This makes reporting a challenge and can be a barrier to research. For this reason, our upcoming research project will target the adult child and / or power of attorney of an older adult. Check back to learn how to participate!
